conductivity value and convert it into PPM through a conversion factor.
This is why TDS and conductivity are closely related. However, TDS value is
only an approximate indication of dissolved ionic solids. It should not be
considered a complete water quality analysis for every type of contamination.
Important Note About Water Quality
A low TDS value does not always mean that water is completely safe or free from
all contaminants. TDS meters mainly detect dissolved ionic substances such as
salts and minerals. Many pesticides, organic chemicals, drug residues, and
non-ionic substances may not be detected by a normal TDS meter.
For critical drinking water quality, pharmaceutical use, laboratory use, or
