Calibration Process for pH Meter
Calibration with 7 pH Buffer Solution
- Clean the pH electrode with clean water.
- Dip the electrode in standard 7 pH buffer solution.
- Wait until the reading becomes stable.
- Rotate the 7 pH calibration screw slowly.
- Set the display value to 7.00 pH.
Calibration with 4 pH Buffer Solution
- Wash the electrode again with clean water.
- Dip the electrode in standard 4 pH buffer solution.
- Wait until the display reading becomes stable.
- Rotate the 4 pH calibration screw slowly.
- Set the display value to 4.00 pH.
For accurate pH measurement, always use fresh buffer solution and clean the pH electrode before calibration. Do not rub the glass bulb harshly because it can damage the sensitive surface of the electrode.
Work Instructions and User Precautions
- Install the pH meter in a clean and dry electrical panel.
- Use a suitable pH electrode according to the process liquid.
- Do not keep the pH electrode dry for a long time.
- Clean the electrode regularly in dirty water, chemical solution or effluent.
- Keep pH signal cable away from high voltage wiring, VFD cable and motor cables.

- Protect the meter from water splash, acid fumes and high humidity.
